Castleton House Hotel has good relations with all the local courses, particularly Alyth and Blairgowrie Golf Club, and their own 9 hole putting green.

The Machrihanish Golf Club is found on the Kintyre Peninsula and has been voted to have "the best opening hole in golf'.

There are two courses in the immediate vicinity. Peebles Golf Club is considered one of the finest in the Borders for the quality of its turf, greens and the stunning views. Cardrona Golf Course nestles well into the surrounding countryside and is mainly a mixture of parkland and woodland. With large undulating USGA greens Cardrona really is an enjoyable challenge to all levels of golfers.
