West Coast cycling at Crinan Hotel, Argyll

The Crinan Hotel is ideally located for cyclists on 'The Caledonia Way.' National Route 78 of the National Cycle Network passes less than 2 miles from the Crinan Hotel, and the detour to get to the hotel is easy cycling along the level, car-free canal towpath.

The Caledonia Way is a stunning 234 mile long distance bike route through Scotland's breath-taking countryside. It runs from Campbeltown passing lochs and mountains before ending in the capital of the Highlands, Inverness.  The Caledonia Way

After having worked up an appetite, return to the hotel and enjoy the wonderful seafood, for which it is renowned, including langoustines which are landed 20 metres from the hotel kitchen at 17.00 hours, in time for dinner.
