Once through the door, you soon realise this is no ordinary hotel as welcoming staff invite you to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Every care has been taken to create a beautiful and tasteful series of public rooms.
This attention to detail extends to the eleven luxury bedrooms and self catering Cottage, all of which are individually designed both for relaxation and practicality, with all the amenities you would expect from a member of Luxury Scotland.
The restaurant is a central part of any stay here. The contemporary decor matches the fine food served which is modern Scottish cuisine and which has been awarded 3 Rosettes by The AA for many years, taking advantage of fabulous local shellfish found right on our doorstep. An important part of dinner at Airds is the stunning view, especially on summer evenings, when our famous sunsets make a show.
The choice menu in the romantic candlelit restaurant may be fine dining but the service, whilst professional, is friendly and welcoming. Lunches are also served and the hotel has a reputation as being ‘the place’ to have a ‘Champagne Full Afternoon Tea’ on the West coast of Scotland!
With such beautiful scenery immediately around the hotel, there is no shortage of sightseeing available to guests.
Whether you choose to explore the local area on foot, by bicycle or by car (or even by boat and plane!) there are plenty of options available to you.
