Featured Hotels - As We See It

Turnberry – A Luxury Collection Resort – “Turnberry is the best pure golf resort in Scotland because of their Ailsa Course, which is always in the top three links courses as rated by our returning Scotland clientele.  The ongoing renovation by the new owners will only enhance this world class resort experience.  It was great before and will certainly be stunning after the enhancements!” – Bill Hogan – President – Wide World of Golf

De Vere Cameron House“Loch Lomond is a little bit of heaven in Scotland and the Cameron House is ideally suited to explore the bonnie banks.  This 5-star manor hotel features the new Carrick GC, a championship lakefront course in impeccable condition, plus the Spa and fabulous gardens to compliment your stay.” – Euan Findlay – Scotland Manager – Wide World of Golf

The Gleneagles Hotel “Quite simply, Gleneagles is the most decorated resort in Europe and for good reason: it has the finest combination of scenery, dining, resort amenities, spa and 3 wonderful golf courses to compliment your stay.  Awards come in bunches to Gleneagles, and the 2014 Ryder Cup on the Gleneagles PGA Centenary Course will only raise the applause!” – Mike Lardner - Chairman – Wide World of Golf

Featured Golf Courses

Turnberry Ailsa Course – Site of the 2009 British Open Championship, and one of the top links courses in the world.  Clearly a “lifetime top 10” on almost everyone’s list, The Ailsa is probably the most beautiful links course in Scotland.

The Carrick – set on the banks of Loch Lomond, The Carrick is a parkland design just opened to exclusive guests of the Cameron House.  The course is know for its excellent modern design and outstanding conditioning, and of course the gorgeous views over Loch Lomond.

Gleneagles Kings – a classic James Braid design from the turn of the century, with very tight landing areas that make up for it’s short “by modern standards” length.  Excellent conditioning and the fantastic views over the Perthshire mountains make for a memorable day.
