Did you know that River Tweed is Europe's most important River for catching Atlantic Salmon?

Did you know that from 15 October until 30 November River Tweed is the ONLY major Scottish river where one is allowed to catch salmon?

And since River Tweed is virtually on our doorstop, we've created the ultimate fishing break.

If you want to try your luck with a fishing rod while staying at Cringletie, we can help you arrange it. We even have a special fishing break. We work closely with Tweed Guide, which offers customised fly fishing packages on the River Tweed. Packages include instruction, equipment and your own guide, and can cater for individuals, groups, and corporate parties. In combination with Tweed Guide, we offer every person booking a fishing session with Tweed Guide, a very special rate of £90 per person for Bed & Breakfast from Sunday till Thursday and £110 pp for Friday and Saturday night.

This rate is valid for our standard rooms at single occupancy between now and 31 July and then again between 1 September and 20 December.

NOTE: Fishing will take place somewhere on the River Tweed, subject to suitable river and weather conditions.
